The little singer
Lacatos Alexandru is the man who took care of Alexandra since she was six years. He is divorced. They live together in a small apartment. She is in second grade at the primary school in Campia Turzii. 3 years ago he saw that his daughter has the talent to sing. In the summer of 2014 he wrote at the Foundation “The child’s heart” from Cluj where he met a special person, Tiberiu Sinpetrean, which helped him with the festivals costs. His daughter won the national festival in Craiova Romania and Turkey. The family's life is very difficult because the father income is not enough to help his daughter to achieve her dream. They still pay rent and a lot of money for gas, electricity, water, school, singing courses and many other necessities.
Let’s help this family to have o normal life.

Single mother with 5 children
Monica Garbovan is a single woman who has 5 children and soon without a roof above her head. Monica Matei is the older daughter from a previous marriage, she is 17 years old and is in the 11th grade in high school. She tries to do her best in order to prove that even though her situation is not great she can finish her studies with hard work and will. Dorina Garbovan is the second one, she is 14 years old and she is in the 8th grade. Sebastian Garbovan and Romina Garbovan in the 2nd grade. Due to the fact that Romina has some problems she can not go to a normal school, so she and her brother are going to a special school. Romina is 11 years old, but her mental capacities are younger, her behavior and her way of thinking is equivalent to 5 years old. Sebastian must go with Romina at school because he must protect her. Children are not nice at their age and they mock her or even beat her. He takes care of her even though he has the capacity to study at a normal school he can not leave her. And the last but not the least is the little Cristina who is only 3 months. She is a little baby girl who is the cherry on this family’s cake. They take care of each other. They love and protect and help each other. Everybody works together. The housework is shared and finished in time, as well as the the homework for school.
What sums up their living conditions is a room with three beds and a hall that supports all the light in the house. They have water but sometimes the food is not enough. The Foundation “The Child’s Heart” (Inima Copilului) helped them in the last year with clothes, food, a refrigerator and a heating stove. Because the family’s income is low, they live only with the help of the children’s allowances, they can not possibly have a decent life. The mother said that after Cristina will be a little bigger she will start working. She worked since she was younger. Her whole life was surrounded by work in the market, fruits, vegetables and flowers.
At a current stage the situation does not look great. The divorce papers are almost closed because the father of the children, not only he doesn’t take care of them, but he is also in prison. The biggest problem now is that next year in march their home will be demolished. The city hall has new plans for the earth under the house so this family is going to be left with nothing.
And now it is up to us. What are we going to do? It is one situation from many others that need help... why do we want to help this one in particular? Because we can, because you can. Because we believe than every human being has a right for a roof above their heads. Because this is a beautiful, hard-working family who will never step back.

Group therapy
Group therapy goals are to educate and develop the knowledge and skills of disadvantaged children in rural communities, and integration of children with problems in society and combating discrimination among them.
Through the activities they undertake in the village of Sanpaul and special school in Cluj, we intend to help kids develop both personally and socially. These activities aim to: facilitate communication, combat discrimination, development of mutual respect, health education, independent living skills, how to behave in society, greening, equal opportunities.
The target group consists of a total of approximately 100 children. Children with mental deficiencies, rheumatic or social integration, and those coming from poor communities who do not have the ability to procure food, clothing, school supplies and toys, the required daily life. These kids don't have the same opportunities as children who have material possibilities to enjoy childhood.
Within this project, we will carry out the following activities:
Knowledge games - each participant presents itself in front of its fellow colleague. They discover mutual interests and last but not least learn to accept yourself in front of others around you.
Raising your game - form a favorable environment for children to relax, to laugh, to enjoy every moment spent with colleagues and to forget about formal organized environment in school.
Games of trust - we hope that through this activity, children will form a healthy and positive self image, building confidence in their own strength to help them get over their fears.
Role playing games - they are encouraged to express their opinions, to be creative and use their imagination.
Motion games - participants are encouraged to maintain a healthy body in order to consume energy in a positive way.
All activities take place with the help of volunteers involved in the project. They devote two hours per week in order to provide children with moments of joy and relaxation and forget about daily problems.
Within this project, we need your help in order to create a suitable climate and to procure materials (sheets of paper, markers, colored pencils, aquarelle, modeling clay, paint brushes, scissors, colored paper, String, glue) required to organize the above mentioned activities and a small gift for the participants.

Aurora Berintan
Aurora Berintan, is a girl who lives in Romania. She is 21 and is a student at the Faculty of Letters studying English and Norwegian. She is one of the many, but what makes her special is her story. When she was born she entered into a coma, she could not breathe and her heart was almost not beating, the doctors said that IF she will live she will not be able to speak or walk. She was also paralysed and had multiple fractures into her body because she was given birth in not normal conditions. Her knees were glued to her chest and her brain was bleeding and was traumatized.
She had a hard life, struggling everyday to survive, even more because her parents did not had money for treatment, so she raised up just like a miracle, in the country side, crying without stopping, without pain meds or sometimes enough food. While she grew up people usually made fun of her. She was lame and she used to fall a lot because she did not had enough balance to stand on her own feet. So she was always hurt and bleeding. But she always tried to do her best, so she fought to study and show people she is normal.
Today she looks normal in the outside, she studies she works, but the true beyond the surface is pain, is limitations and stop signs for a fully normal life.
